Field Operations Technician

Duties/Responsibilities
- Maintain “the ARAN” (Automatic Road Analyzer) vehicle and its many integrated pavement data collection subsystems by performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting problems as they arise.
- Collect data in various U.S. states using an integrated computer interface system that controls all onboard subsystems remotely.
- A myriad of administrative responsibilities including the timely shipments of data to the company, completion of daily reports, timesheets, expense reports, etc.
- Execute action plan that optimizes daily data collection.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree or certificate in Electronics, Computer or Civil Engineering, vocational/technical training or equivalent work experience.
- Valid drivers license with impeccable motor vehicle record and driving skills.
- Working knowledge of Windows OS, MS DOS, and computer hardware.
- Experience with Electronics and Electrical systems.
- Strong Analytical and problem solving skills.
- 100% travel (crews based out of their homes); reimbursement of travel; per diem.
- Must complete a pre-placement physical, criminal background check, and drug screen.
- Valid passport
