Senior Project Manager – Pavement Engineering

Duties/Responsibilities

• Oversee projects providing engineering specialty services.
• Manage resources for applied engineering research on pavements and aggregates, including destructive and non-destructive test methods to develop flexible pavement designs using industry instruments such as a Falling Weight Deflectometer.
• Oversee studies on materials development, evaluation, characterization, pavement performance modeling for management systems, cost allocation, and pavement rehabilitation and maintenance, using industry-accepted software.
• Supervise pavement evaluation and pavement design.
• Conduct proposal preparation and marketing of services.
• Assist with development and supervision of engineering staff.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering preferred
• Registered Professional Engineer
• Major Field of Study: Pavement Engineering
• At least ten years in related occupation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good marketing/management and organizational skills
• Able to work with minimum supervision
• Basic computer skills
• Willingness to travel
• Valid drivers license with acceptable motor vehicle record
• Applicant must complete a pre-employment drug test
