Fugro Consultants owns a fleet of land drilling equipment including all-terrain vehicles, nearshore vessels, and cone penetrometer testing (CPT) units.  Our equipment is capable of drilling to depths in excess of 200 feet.  For most projects, we operate our own equipment.  The result is a solid, controlled response to scheduling requirements.

As a leader in the development and application of CPT, Fugro notes these advantages of the system:  no soil cuttings; limited weather constraints; and site access flexibility (no drilling mast). 

The company has extensive experience in correlating CPT data with soil borings.  In addition, many of our CPT units are equipped to perform in-situ measurement of subsurface environmental contamination.
