Groundwater Resources

Meeting the water demands of a growing population in arid regions throughout the world, while at the same time protecting water quality are key objectives of Fugro Consultants’ groundwater resources projects. Groundwater modeling, seawater desalination, and wastewater recycling are strategies that depend on the expertise of Fugro’s hydrogeologists.

Groundwater Resources Management
Water management related to urban growth, water conservation, and conjunctive use is accomplished by investigating and evaluating hydrogeologic conditions, calculating the water balance, developing a groundwater model, and using advanced Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and modeling tools to project water use scenarios into the future.
