Fugro offers nondestructive testing (NDT) services to clients in the construction, petrochemical, metal fabrication, municipal, and utility industries. Our testing equipment detects surface and subsurface discontinuities in material by using techniques that do not damage or destroy the items being examined. NDT plays a major role in fabrication and construction by providing a means of checking adherence to applicable codes, specifications, and standards — without significantly interfering with construction, operation, or project schedule.
Our NDT labs utilize eleven radiography bays, five cranes (20,000 lbs lifting capacity at our NW Houston location) and three forklifts. Fugro provides these NDT services at clients’ field sites and in-house twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.
